Three jet powered versions of these hulls have been built, all used as pleasure boats. All have somewhat different uses. Scamp, the light blue-gray boat, was built for an avid fisherman living on Cape Cod who typically fished for several hours early most mornings in season. Wild Oats’ original buff paint job matched the superstructure of the 95 foot yacht on which she is a tender. She is now, we understand, painted a dark blue to match the hull of the yacht. The dark blue boat, Good to Go, is slightly longer than the others in the family due to the curved transom, a feature people like the looks of. Several unpainted work boats are also shown.
The arrangements of these three boats differ from one to another, reflecting the owner’s desires and use of the boat.
These can be powered with single or twin outboards or gas or diesel I/O’s.
Power – Any of these trailerable boats can be powered with twin or single outboards, single gas or diesel I/O’s, or jets.
